Yemen: Cease-Fire To Begin April 10

A cease-fire will take hold across Yemen on April 10, and fresh peace talks with begin April 18 in Kuwait, Special Envoy of the U.N. Secretary-General for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said March 24, AFP reported. Militants aligned with the Islamic State or al Qaeda are not expected to abide by the cease-fire or take part in the formal negotiations. Even if a political deal emerges, it will not bring peace to Yemen .
