Jet fuel imports to the US West Coast reached their highest level in more than 10 years in the week ended November 10, Energy Information Administration data showed Wednesday. West Coast imports soared to 275,000 b/d during the week , up 140,000 b/d week on week. This was the highest level since the week of March 9, 2007, when it was reported at 286,000 b/d. Two shipping vessels from Asia recently unloaded a total of more than 600,000 barrels of jet fuel at the Port of Los Angeles, according to US Customs data and Platts cFlow trade-flow software. STI Ruby arrived at the port from South Korea with more than 300,000 barrels of jet fuel on November 4 for LAXFuel.
