Iraqi exports shoot to near-record levels

Federal Iraq earned more monthly oil revenue in November than it has since October 2014, due to rising oil prices and a nearly 5 percent jump in exports. The new data, released by the Iraqi Oil Ministry on Friday, comes after Thursday’s announcement of a record single day in crude loadings from the Basra Gulf terminals, and an extension of a pact between OPEC and other producers to limit production through 2018 in a bid to keep pushing up prices.
