Italian energy company Eni said Friday its production level in December reached an all-time high, attributing much of its gain to offshore Egypt. Eni reported December production of 1.92 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, a record for the company. Fourth quarter output averaged 1.89 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, its highest quarterly production in seven years. Full-year production averaged 1.82 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, up 3.2 percent from 2016 and its highest annual average ever.
