Gas y Petroleo del Neuquen is preparing a fourth round for the remaining 44 frontier blocks in Vaca Muerta, a system that is opening the door to smaller players to take a shot in Argentina’s biggest shale play, the head of the provincial oil company said Friday.  Alberto Saggese, president of GyP, as the Neuquen-owned company is known, said companies have been calling about this latest quarterly round, which is facilitated in an open process. Companies can make bids by October 31, and any blocks not awarded will be available in the next quarter.
