China’s refinery crude throughput rose 6.1% year on year to a record high of 12.73 million b/d, or a total of 102.49 million mt, over January and February, preliminary data released Thursday by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.  The year-on-year growth over the past two months was lower than the increase of 7.3% seen for the same period in 2018. The NBS normally combines production data for January and February because of the Lunar New Year holidays, which usually fall on one of those two months and last for seven days. More detailed data including production figures for oil products, is expected to be released by the bureau in the next few days.
