In mid-August, the Houston-based company announced a three-year contract with Norwegian energy giant Equinor (formerly Statoil) to provide an “E-ROV” system for inspection, maintenance and repair services in up to 3,280 feet of water in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Work under the contract will start in early December. Conventional ROVs, or remotely operated vehicles, are supported by a vessel on the surface of the water.
