Former Iraqi Oil Minister Thamir Ghadhban will be nominated to return to the post, sources close to the ongoing government formation process told S&P Global Platts Wednesday. Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi is to name his cabinet at Parliament within the hour, and Ghadhban was seen at the venue by Platts. Multiple lists being circulated by sources close to the prime minister’s office all had Ghadhban listed.
