Cheniere Energy wants Williams’ Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line to start up early an expansion project that will boost the amount of feedgas available to serve the LNG exporter’s terminal near Corpus Christi, Texas.  This week’s request comes as a tanker remained moored Tuesday to a jetty at the facility, awaiting orders whether it will carry the first cargo or depart for a loading elsewhere. Cheniere began LNG production there on November 14. The company has said the first export would be shipped soon, likely to the Far East. A spokesman said he could not provide an update on timing.
