Vietnam’s 148,000 b/d Dung Quat refinery has received its first cargo of US crude oil, an official at refinery operator Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical said Wednesday.  The Suezmax vessel Almi Horizon arrived at Dung Quat port on April 29 carrying 950,000 barrels of crude loaded from the US Gulf Coast, S&P Global Platts vessel tracking software cFlow showed. The crude was loaded onto the vessel at the Galveston Offshore Lightering Area on March 15, before making the trip to Asia via the Suez canal, cFlow showed. Shipping fixtures showed that BP was the charterer of the vessel.
